About this item

  • Support voltage of DC4.5-DC36V; Meet the needs of high-speed printing, support up to 36V drive motor, and support up to 2.1A current; Supports 256 high segmentation
  • Real time monitoring of the temperature of the motor and drive, TMC2240 can directly report the temperature of its own chip; Supports analog signal input
  • Please pay attention to the direction when inserting the TMC2240 drive, and do not reverse it to avoid damaging the drive. Supports the Sensorless Homing function
  • The TMC2240 driver is a new type of silent driver that supports a higher voltage range and a larger current output. If you use high voltage (greater than 24V) or high current (greater than 1.2A), you must use active cooling to avoid overheating the drive
  • TMC2240 defaults to SPI mode at the factory, and we recommend that you use SPI mode; If you need to use UART mode, you need to manually short together the solder joints at R4 position with tin; To avoid damaging the drive, it is not recommended to try it easily without welding experience. We sincerely recommend that you choose TMC2209 for UART mode drive
